Nina Voss

Founder & Creative Director

GW Office

Nina Voss is the founder and creative director of GW Office, a small but highly focused creative practice working across identity, campaigns, and cultural projects. She started the studio as a solo operation and grew it into a 10-person team in less than a year. That growth forced her to rethink almost everything: hiring, pricing, delegation, decision-making, and what “success” should actually look like. Nina is interested in the tension between ambition and sustainability, especially in an industry that often celebrates growth without asking what it costs. Her work is known for combining strategic clarity with warm, distinctive visual systems. As a studio leader, she has become a vocal advocate for smaller teams, clearer roles, and healthier creative operations. At the event, Nina gives Small Team, Big Practice, a talk about scaling a creative business without losing the thing that made it good in the first place. She shares what changed when the studio grew, what nearly broke, and why staying small can sometimes be the more serious business decision. Her perspective is especially useful for freelancers, founders, and studio leads wondering whether they should grow, specialize, or simplify. Nina’s talk is practical, honest, and quietly rebellious about the idea that bigger is always better.
